Winterhaven Amenities:
Ski-in / Ski-out: True ski-in by coming down Last Chance Trail or riding up Ski-Lift 1 and Ski-out by Last Run Trail or down Highland Run. When your ready to come in from the cold, the Bunk Room as a place to keep your ski equipment safe until your ready to head back out. See trail map below.
Wifi: There is complimentary wi-fi available in the building, provided by the condo association. Below is the list of the wi-fi network names that are available, just pick the one with the strongest signal for you and your up and running, no password necessary.
Main Wi-fi Network names:
- for the D building: Lodge-D_Guest
- for the E building: Lodge_Guest
Coin-Operated Laundry: There is a washer and dryer located in each building on the 2nd floor toward the end of the building. There are no laundry soap dispensers or a change machine, so you may want to bring some from home if you are planning on doing laundry.
Childproofing: (in the process) We are working to make the condo’s a little more family friendly for small children. We are putting plug protectors in the kitchen drawer to make them available for those that want to use them. We are also installing child proof locks on some of the cabinets. These are to be left off but if you need to use them; you can turn them on and keep those little ones out of places they shouldn’t be.
Games: We have added games and puzzles to our condos to give your whole group something to do when you’re not out enjoying wild and wonderful West Virginia.
Parking Lot: Large gravel lot for parking. Rarely needed but parking in the flat grassy area allowed if gravel lot is full.
Safety items: The condos have smoke alarms and are equipped with a sprinkler system. We have put fire extinguishers mounted on the upper cabinet toward the living area and or a small one under the sink. There is also a first aid kit in the mirrored cabinet in the full size bathroom. There is an exit door from all the bedrooms on to the walkway except the master bedroom, which has direct access to the private deck.
Center Lodge Area: Available now. The center lodge area can be rented out for groups. Contact us if you have any interest in renting this area.
