Grandview, once was a state park and now owned by the National Park Service. This is a beautiful place to spend a few hours or a whole day. There are lots of trails to hike and explore some of WV natural beauty; from easy to difficult, short and paved to narrow and rocky. There is a new, updated play ground, basketball court, volleyball courts and a baseball field. They have picnic tables with charcoal grills available, as well. In the summer, they have plays at the outdoor ampitheater in the evenings. Honey and the Rock and The Hatfield's and McCoy's have been preformed there for decades. We have spent many enjoyable afternoons playing and exploring at Grandview.
